Mimec Electronics Pvt. Ltd, Ranchi conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 and IS/IEC 60079-11:2011 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|61742|2023|Electrical(HQ) dated 30.11.2023 and  letter No. MIC/23-24/159 dated 06.09.2023  on the above subject and Test Reports, performance report and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval ( Approval No. 734 of 2018) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 430/646/EHQ dated 26.07.2018 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 26.07.2025 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India.  The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with. 

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
