Sub: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for flameproof squirrel cage induction motor with detachable terminal box with sealing box and gland for wire-armoured cable with external fan and fan cooled rated at 50 HP, 550 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 3000 RPM, frame size E225S for Gas Group I, manufactured by M/s. CG Power and Industrical Solutions Limited, Ahmadnagar conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 and IS/IEC 60529-2001 for use in belowground Coal Mines– Permissible variation thereof.

Please refer to your online application No.51096 dated 16.01.2022 and online letter No. LTM/DGMS/REN/2021-22/09V dated 16.01.2022 on the above subject.
The matter has since been examined and based on the ERTL(E) test report No. ERTL(E)/TES/C299/0011/12-19 dated 01.05.2020 regarding IS/IEC60079-1-2014 and IS/IEC60079-0:2011 standards, following permissible variation is allowed which doesn't adversely affect the flameproof features of the subject equipment and subject to fulfillment of the conditions as stipulated in DGMS approval No. 78 of 1974:
