Subject:  Approval of Environmental Monitoring System for use in Coal Mines manufactured by M/s Jagdamba Tyres Retreading Co., Dhanbad – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your letter No.25-26/07 dated 13.05.2025 and online application ID No.62320 dated 30.04.2025 on the above subject.

In view of the difficulties expressed by you, I, by virtue of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval for Environmental Monitoring System for detection of Carbon Monoxide and Inflammable gases in underground coal mines manufactured by M/s Jagdamba Tyres Retreading Co., Dhanbad.

 The renewal of the Approval is subjected to following conditions:

1. All the conditions of the approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No.16(1)99-Genl/1920 dated 03.07.2003 & Directorate’s letter No. S 66021/24/2006-Genl./1088 dated 14.06.2010 shall remain unchanged except the validity of the approval.
2. Further renewal of the approval can be sought through online application at least 90 days prior to the expiry of the validity.
3. The product shall be tested at any Govt./Govt. Approved laboratory whenever standard of testing regime changes and the approval is revalidated from this Directorate under new/revised testing standard (s).
4. The renewal of the approval shall be valid for the period of 02 years i.e. up to 03.07.2027.
