Suraj Plant & Equipment Corporation, Chandigarh conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2017, IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 for use in belowground Coal Mines – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/40914/2021/Electrical (HQ), dated 05.07.2021 and offline application No. SPEC/DGMS/Renewal/051 dated 05.07.2021 on the above subject and CIMFR test report No. IN/CIMFR/TR21/H07 dated 08.04.2021 and BIS licence No. CM/L-0564854 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 270 of 1985) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 300/84/117/EHQ dated 17.12.1985 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 28.03.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
