Sub: DGMS approval No. 535 of 2005 under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for Flameproof transwitch unit, in fabricated MS & CI grade FG150 construction designated by type No. FLP-TX-01 rated upto 500KVA, 3.3/1.1KV with restricted earth neutral system and primary switch of 3.3KV, 630A, vacuum circuit breaker conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2011,IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 and IS/IEC 60529-2001(Reaffirmed 2014) manufactured by M/s.Prabhu Switchgear Pvt. Ltd. for use in below ground coal mines- Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|40915|2021|Electrical(HQ), dated 06.07.2021, offline application No. PSPL/264/2020-21 dated 12.03.2021 and subsequent correspondence thereupon the above subject and CIMFR Test & Assessment Report No. IN/CIMFR/TR20/756, dated 05.03.2020, BIS License No. CM/L- 5227760 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of Powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby further renew the approval (DGMS approval No. 535 of 2005) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 484/719/EHQ, dated 08.06.2005 for a period of five years, i.e. up to 08/06/2026 for use in below ground coal mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
