Ref No-: Test report No - KLPL/Ex/20-147X Issue no. 02 dated 06/02/2024 and the associated drawings as mentioned in para 15 (page 04 of 06) of the test report.

Please refer to your online application no. E-29021/61991/2024/Electrical (HQ) dated 22/07/2027 on the above subject and test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 503 of 2004) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 86/242/EHQ dated 09.02.2004 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 09/02/2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India.

In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to and spares, supplied by OEM shall only be used while maintaining the apparatus. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.

The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of this approval.
