Subject: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, of  Rhino-25 Shot Exploder for use in gassy coal mines/seams of first & second degree gassiness manufactured by M/s. Electronic Equipment Manufacturing Co., Kolkata – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your letter No. EEMC:SS:DGMS:20-21, dated 03.07.2020 and online application ID. 30540, dated 02.07.2020 on the above subject.

                                   In view of satisfactory performance reports from the mines, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 14(6)70-Genl/846, dated 12.03.2003, for further period of five years i.e. upto 11.03.2025. The approval shall remain valid till the manufacturer has a valid BIS certification.
