 Please refer to your online application vide Reference No. 61649 dated 14.08.2023 on the above mentioned subject matter,  attaching therewith the test reports & batch testing report from M/s CIMFR and the  satisfactory performance report from coal mine.

 The subject matter has been examined in light of what has been stated in your application. In view of the satisfactory performance, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, hereby renew the approval granted, to Intrinsically safe rechargeable cap lamp with in-built rechargeable Li-ion Battery, Type No. IS-RH-LED-05, manufactured by M/s Flameproof equipments Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai,   for use in underground coal mines (Approval No. SA-2/2018), vide this Directorate’s letter No. S-29022/62/2017/MSE(HQ)/P-16 dated 18.09.2018  for a further period of five years i,e upto 18.09.2028, subject to the strict compliance of the conditions stipulated vide this Directorate’s  approval letter No. S-29022/62/2017/MSE(HQ)/P-16 dated 18.09.2018.
