           In view of the satisfactory performance reports from mines, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 and 2 (2) of the Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961,hereby renew the approval granted vide this Directorate letter No. 10311G dated 07.04.1970 read with letter No. 16(67)76-Genl/3664, dated 15.09.1999 and modified letter No. S-66021/52/2006-Genl/1113 dated 17.03.2009 for further period of five years upto 14.09.2025. The approval shall remain valid till the manufacturer has a valid BIS certification.
