Eimco Elecon (India) Ltd., Vallabh Vidyanagar (Gujarat), for use in the below-ground Coal Mine – Renewal thereof

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|62654|2025|Electrical (HQ)dated 09.12.2025 on the above subject & test report nos. as per Annexure-A and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 15 of 1982) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 321/76/199/EHQ dated 11.02.1982 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 03.02.2031 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
Condition: A copy of a valid DGMS approval for the FLP Power Distribution Board (PDB) may please be submitted to this Directorate within three (03) months from the date of issuance of this approval. In case the same is not received within the stipulated period, the approval may be reviewed, which could lead to its withdrawal.
