Sub: Approval under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, of MEC COAL-5, a P-5 type of slurry explosive composition for use in gassy coal mines /seams of first degree manufactured by M/s AMA Industries Pvt. Ltd.- Nagpur- Renewal Thereof.

Please refer to your online application vide ref id no. 61325 dated 18.08.2022 , along with the offline letter No. nil dated Aug 18, 2022 and subsequent letter No. nil dated 20.10.2022 & 14.11.2022 with an undertaking on the above subject.
The matter has been considered in the light of what has been stated in your application under reference. In view of the difficulty expressed by you, and I , in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, hereby renew the approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. 14(3)2002- Genl/3428 dated 01.10.2003 for a further period of two years, i,e. upto 01.10.2024, subject to the strict compliance of conditions of the approval and the following additional conditions also.
- The factory inspection may be made by an Officer of this Directorate, if felt necessary, any time to assess/reassess the capability of the manufacturer in respect of quality control, testing and other facilities.
2. The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, whenever standard of testing changes and the approval gets revalidated from this Directorate under the new /revised testing standards.
