Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/61779/2023/Electrical (HQ) dated 29.12.2023 on the above subject and test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 636 of 2012) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 564/799/EHQ dated 09.04.2012 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 09.04.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines.  All conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical apparatus covered under approval conforming to the latest applicable testing standards and valid BIS/QAR/QAN license of the manufacturers shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.

The application for renewal should be submitted at least three (03) months prior to the expiry date of this approval.
